D & R specializes in Product Support Analysis (PSA), also known as Integrated Logistics Support (ILS), a disciplined approach to maximizing equipment availability and reliability throughout its lifecycle.
Our support begins in the early design phases, contributing to
operational planning, supportability strategies and initial
maintenance planning. We continue through deployment, assisting with
validations, verifications and sustainment operations.
We engage in integrated product teams (IPTs), design reviews and
logistics demonstrations to ensure the support perspective is considered at
every stage, including:
We establish a central database for all equipment data and supportability analyses. This repository enables the generation of reports, including LSA-019, -024, -036 and others, capturing the results of detailed analyses for operational planning and lifecycle support.
We conduct in-depth analyses to define support requirements, including FMECAs, Reliability and Maintainability Predictions, Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM). These studies identify scheduled and unscheduled tasks, required manpower, tools and resources, and generate maintenance plans and Maintenance Allocation Charts (MACs).
Using analysis results, we develop Provisioning Technical Documentation (PTD) to support the assignment of National Stock Numbers (NSNs) and ensure availability of critical spares.
Tasks identified through the MTA process form the basis for detailed training analysis. Our training specialists conduct needs assessments, develop materials, and deliver training sessions to ensure personnel are fully prepared to operate and maintain equipment efficiently.
The MTA process provides the foundation for developing accurate and consistent technical manuals. Leveraging data from the Logistics Product Data (LPD) database, our manuals reflect the same dataset used in all preceding analyses, ensuring alignment across documentation and support processes.
Technical Manual developmentWe work from raw engineering data—drawings, schematics, bills of materials—and collaborate closely with your subject matter experts to produce manuals that are complete, precise, and fully operational for maintenance and training purposes.
